Eden Village of Wilmington Update

3 years ago, before and during the pandemic Eden Village Wilmington, NC got started. From an empty field with one "Tiny Home" it has transformed onto a functional little city of 31 "Tiny Homes" currently filled to capacity with, now not homeless, individuals. Faye and I delivered the "Mike's Place" sign to his contribution. Here are some pictures of the transformation of that empty field. WELL DONE!! For those of you who have donated to our MLT Cares Foundation, take pride in your help for this country wide homeless problem. Thank you.

2020 Wrap- up and Thank you!

Welcome to 2021!

As the MLT Foundation enters our second full year as a non-profit aiding the Homeless we are pleased to update everyone on our efforts in 2020. Despite the pandemic which has engulfed our nation we were able to move forward supporting efforts to aid the homeless population that has been growing and in need of more aid during these troubled times.

In 2020 the MLT Foundation donated over $54,000 in Grants to Homeless Non-Profits to purchase everything from industrial washers and dryers, backpacks and supplies, kitchen equipment and a bathroom remodel for shelters across 3 states. The Foundation was even able to donate a Tiny Home to a shelter in Missouri. Added to the amounts MLT donated prior to this year (2018-19) prior to receiving 501(c)3 status, we have issued right at $100k in Grants!

Our family is very grateful for the opportunity to support these noble efforts as we begin our journey into the non-profit and homeless support endeavor. We are very appreciative for the support we are receiving from friends, family and the public with their generous donations and participation in our activities.

With all our hearts we thank you!

As we look to 2021 and extending our efforts we ask that you keep the MLT Foundation in mind as each of you look for ways to support your community. MLT contributes 100% of the donations we receive in Grants to Homeless organizations that are in need of infrastructure and equipment to help those in need. All our time is donated and all expenses are absorbed by the Foundation.

If you know of a cause in need of support please let us know or direct them to us (www.mlt-cares.com or email admin@mlt-cares.com). If you are interested and able to donate please join our cause. The MLT Foundation is an Amazon Smile registered non-profit organization (www.smile.amazon.com) – we are the MLT Foundation listed from Cameron Park, Ca. MLT is also a matching donation cause with Benevity (https://causes.benevity.org/) if your employer offers it. Also if you want to make a direct donation then please visit our website (www.mlt-cares.com) to make a contribution via credit card or Paypal. We will make your contribution whole by covering the fees from the financial institutions that they deduct.

Your assistance is critical in our efforts and we appreciate any support you can provide going forward and have already provided.

Thank you again for the generosity you provided the homeless in 2020 and we look forward to doing even more this year to aid those in need.

Stay Safe!

MLT Foundation Donates $10k to Lantern House

The MLT Foundation recently made a $10k Grant to the Lantern House in Ogden, Utah for the purchase of industrial strength washers and dryers. The equipment will be used to support the homeless shelter in Weber County.

In 2019 the Lantern House (https://www.stannescenter.org/) provided over 70,000 shelter nights to over 2,300 homeless individuals. In this time of the pandemic the shelter is providing an even larger amount of support to the growing population of citizens that need their support. The program uses a Short Term Emergency Program (STEP) to provide services for those in need. The Lantern House historically has provided over 125k nutritious meals to those that require support in these difficult times.

The MLT Foundation is proud to support their actions and grateful to our donors that make these activities possible in aiding the homeless in their efforts to move forward.

Please consider a donation to join our efforts in supporting those that are less fortunate by making a donation at MLT-Cares.
